Attachment Style Test

Your Attachment Type Result

After you finish the quiz, this page shows how you score across the four attachment styles—Secure, Anxious, Avoidant, and Fearful. Haven't taken it yet? Meet the four styles first.

The four attachment styles at a glance

Secure

You feel at ease with both intimacy and independence. You trust your partner, communicate openly, and aren't afraid of being left. In relationships you can express your needs and still give space.

Anxious

You crave closeness, yet often worry you aren't loved enough. Reassurance settles you; distance makes you uneasy. You may need a lot of reassurance, and feel anxious when your partner pulls away.

Avoidant

You prize independence and feel uneasy with too much closeness. You're used to relying on yourself, less willing to show vulnerability, and less reliant on others.

Fearful

You want intimacy yet fear getting hurt, caught between 'move closer' and 'push away.' You may want connection while retreating from fear at the same time.
